On Monday Designed For More will be out in the world.
That still feels a little surreal to write.
There is so much that goes into creating a book that people never really see. The writing, of course, but also the doubting, the rewriting, the conversations, the testing of ideas, the editing, the refining, and the moments where you wonder whether what you are creating will actually connect with people in the way you hope it will.
This book has also made me reflect deeply on my own career and life. On the choices I have made. The paths I followed because they made sense at the time. The moments I changed direction. The things I have outgrown. And the parts of my life I now protect far more fiercely than I once did.
That is probably why this book feels so personal.
It is not a book about chasing more for the sake of more. It is about paying attention to what “more” means to you now.
For me, that has changed many times over the years. At different points it has meant ambition, growth, adventure, impact, freedom, family, contribution and space. And I think that is the point.
We are allowed to evolve.
We are allowed to redefine success.
We are allowed to decide that what once fitted beautifully may no longer be enough for the person we have become.
A few days out from launch, I feel incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped shape this book, shared a story, challenged an idea, read an early draft or simply encouraged me to keep going.
And more than anything, I feel excited to finally put it into people’s hands.
Because I know there are a lot of people quietly wondering what comes next.
This book is for them.
