A challenge for this weekend.
What if the reason you still don’t know what you want next is not because you need more clarity?
What if you already know more than you are admitting, and the real issue is that the answer might require you to disappoint someone, give something up, take a risk or stop hiding behind how busy you are?
That is a much less comfortable question.
So instead of asking, “What should I do next?”, sit with these:
1. What do I already know about my career that I keep pretending is still unclear?
2. What am I afraid I might lose if I actually acted on what I want?
3. Where am I calling something “practical” when it is really just fear dressed up as logic?
If you keep avoiding the truth because the consequences feel inconvenient, you are still making a decision.
You are choosing to stay exactly where you are.
