Your Friday Fuel is designed to bring focus to how you reflect on the week that was.
In addition to the big questions such as -
- What am I proud of?
- Where am I challenged?
- What do I need to change up for next week, here are 3 questions that relate to our focus this week.
These reflection questions are designed to help you think more deeply about your mindset and how that is contributing to better leadership:
- Audit Your Self-Talk:
Reflect on your inner chatter this week. Have you been building yourself up or holding yourself back? Write down recurring thoughts, especially during any challenges this week. Then, reframe any negative statements into neutral or growth-oriented ones. For example, replace “I’m terrible at this” with “This is a chance to improve and grow.” - Assess Your Response to Setbacks:
Have you had a particularly challenging week? How have you reacted? Are you seeing this as a roadblock or an opportunity to learn? Reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how adopting a growth mindset could change the way you approach similar situations in the future. - Visualise Your Best Self:
Imagine the leader you aspire to be five years from now. What mindset would that version of you carry? Reflect on how your current thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors align—or don’t—with that vision. Identify one mindset shift you can make today to move closer to your goals.
These small but intentional reflections can help you lead with resilience, authenticity, and clarity.
